An expert workshop was held at the European Commission in Brussels on February 22 and 23, 2024,
to discuss the results of the DigCompEdu – its SELFIEforTEACHERS use cases as well as the findings of a multi-case research study on the tool which has been carried out by the European Commission. The workshop will also provide members with an opportunity to hear from the Commission about latest policy developments on digital education and skills.
The ECCC Foundation was represented by Dr. Katarzyna Urban.
Experts also exchanged their views and knowledge on the new challenges teachers face when using generative artificial intelligence and its impact on teaching, learning and teachers’ digital competences.
The results of the workshop will be summarized in a report, which will also include recommendations for the European policy.
