Competence path

Based on research led by methodologists and didactic experts, the ECCC Foundation designed teaching recommendations found below. The table is organized by the levels of difficulty of taught material along with the suggested number of teaching hours. This structure allows for flexibility when educational institutions plan their teaching programs.

Individual path of ECCC Certification

The ECCC system is the most flexible certification system currently available on the market. It raises and tests key digital competencies of everyone willing to learn regardless of their age, current role, or social status. When choosing a certification path, the ECCC Foundation recommends consulting with a professional career counselor or a licensed ECCC professional. The following shows the most common learning time frame for A, B, C, and D levels:

  • Level A: Foundation…………..10-15 hours per one module
  • Level B: Intermediary………..15–20 hours per one module
  • Level C: Advanced…………….20–30 hours per one module
  • Level D: Highly Specialised 30–40 hours per one module
