The "ICT activates a village" project
On 1st July 2011 the "ICT activates a village" project within the ECCC standard in Lubuskie province began. The goal of the project is to support local initiatives and prevent social exclusion. A target group consists of Ryki community inhabitants. The project provides the following trainings:- Trainings and workshops in ICT, finalised with the ECCC exam
- Vocational counselling
- Seminar concerning on the subject "A model for creating a thematic village"
This project is carried out within the project co-funded by the European Union, priority 7. Promotion of social integration, measure 7.2 Counteracting exclusion and strengthening the social economy sector. -

Educational projects in Mszana Dolna concluded
On 20th September 2011, two educational projects in Technical and Informatics Complex School in Mszana Dolna were concluded. The project provided trainings and exams within the ECCC and VCC standard.
The conclusion meeting was attended by Jan Puchała - Limanowa district prefect, Dariusz Styrna – a director of the office realizing a project named “ Modernization of vocational education in Małopolska” who represented Małopolska Province Marshal Office, and Andrzej Dębski – a director of Complex Technical – Informatics School in Mszana Dolna.
The European Institute of Computer Science Development was represented by the President, Krzysztof Juryk. The meeting showed possibilities of vocational education as well as further education and personnel professional improvement through additional training and certification within the ECCC and VCC standards.
A project "Reconstruction and equipping vocational education institutions in Limanowa District, as reinforcement of Southern Malopolska Vocational Education Web" was carried out within the framework of Human Capital Operational Programme.

The presentation of the ECCC and the VCC standards in Prague (The Czech Republic).
On 12 – 14 September 2011 representatives of the Association of the European Institute of Computer Science Development, Emilia Horowska and Łukasz Bogaczyk, conducted information and promotion meetings concerning the ECCC and the VCC standards in the capital of the Czech Republic - Prague.
In these two days three individual meetings were held with the representatives of the training institutions operating in the Czech Republic.
Their representatives were: Vaclav Pinkava - the Project Developing Director in BIT.cz (Best in Training), Zdenek Masin - the Director of S-COMP and Lukasz Ligas - the director of the Institute of Information Society Development.
During the meetings the mission and the strategy of the European Institute of Computer Science Development, the experience in certification, the services offered and the rules of cooperation were presented.
The main goal of the meetings was to provide participants with information about the ECCC and the VCC certification standards and to give promotional materials.
It was also important to get information about the Czech labour and training markets as this will allow certification standards to be customized to the Czech reality.
