The representatives of the ECCC Foundation took part in the educational mission in the USA on May 29-31, 2022.
The key purpose of the visit was to strengthen the educational cooperation with USA. The result was, among others, the signing of the Declaration on Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science with the Illinois Council of State for Education. The declared cooperation will include the creation of opportunities for the exchange of teachers, exchange of good practices the field of vocational development, undertaking joint initiatives, as well as promoting bilateral projects, including in the area of digital education, etc.
Discussions and meetings took place in Chicago. Milwaukee and Madison include with representatives of the state of Illinois – Director General of the Board of Education of the State of Illinois Ernesto Matias and Wisconsin – senator Dan Feyen, representatives are Ken Skowronski, Cody Horlacher, as well as representatives of the universities and ECCC partners.
The area of interest of the ECCC Foundation was the presentation of the activities carried out, deepening cooperation with partners from the USA and accelerating the implementation of the ECCC digital education concept after the period of the Covid pandemic.
On May 30, the delegation took part in the Memorial Day celebrations – a holiday commemorating citizens who died during military service.
